Alerted Autumn Gaming

Working through a mission from the solitary game, Hostage Rescue Squad, by Mike Lambo. First off, I love this designer’s games and I play them a lot. Mechanics are quick to learn. Game play is fast. And they offer a fun challenge. Even though there are game pieces I could print out, I really like to use my 8mm cubes when I play these games. Starting off this electronic diary of my gaming with one of my favorites, Voyages, by @postmark_games. It’s been a great game for me since it’s quick to play, beautiful to look at, and has the right amount of challenge to keep me trying out different strategies with each game. Not sure I’m scoring the highest, but it’s a ton of fun. It’s even sparked an interest in exploring other navel and pirate games. For now here’s one of my plays on the first map.
